Affiliation & Competition Registration

The online affiliation process for the 2026 Women’s season is now open. All affiliations and entries to the ToalsBet Women’s Challenge Cup must be completed via the Comet Football Management System.

Both affiliations and competition entries will be completed through the Comet Football Management System (Comet). (Step by step user guides for both the affiliation process and competition entries are provided below). 

A separate affiliation must be made for each team (1st XI, 2nd XI etc) and related costs are £25 affiliation fee per team plus the relevant competition entry fee (£10 for Junior Shield, Women’s Challenge Cup or Steel & Sons Cup; or £20 for Senior Shield) where applicable.

Unaffiliated teams will not be able to play any competitive fixtures. 

You are asked to affiliate at the earliest opportunity and note that closing dates for competition entries are:

•         Senior Shield                                 30 June (NIFL Premiership, NIFL Championship & invited teams ONLY)

•         Steel & Sons Cup.                         30 June (Intermediate teams ONLY)

•         Junior Shield.                                  15 August (Junior teams ONLY)

•         Women’s Challenge Cup.            Now Open –  Deadline, Last day of February (All affiliated Women’s teams ONLY) (Note, you must have been a member of an IFA sanctioned league in season 2025 in order to be eligible to enter).
